Iwan Brioc is an applied theatre consultant working internationally to co-create with communities dynamic platforms for personal and social transformation.

He has been a Theatre of the Oppressed (TO) practitioner for 25 years – trained by Augusto Boal and mentored by Adrian Jackson. He was a co-director of Theatr Fforwm Cymru and whilst there created ‘Rehearsal for Reality’, the first national legislative theatre project in the world, for the National Assembly of Wales.

He is director of Theatre Cynefin, where he pioneered Sensory Labyrinth Theatre and is the originator Context Oriented Theatre a new approach in applied theatre combining several methodologies (including TO) to orient awareness towards itself, in order to perceive directly our deepest nature.
