Angharad Evans

I am a Creative Practitioner and freelance performer across a broad spectrum of the arts. Having recently written in 2015, produced and directed ‘In Light of Tom Mathias’ a site specific production back to her home village in Cillgerran. I have a particular interest and a vast amount of experience of working with community, using the arts to empower and enrich peoples lives.

Some of my work includes, Adamsdown Arts Association on a number of projects in Adamsdown and Splott and a number of projects with Oasis a charity that help support Refugees and Asylum Seekers. In January 2016 she volunteered on Transform Project India working with 700 children from deprived areas and schools with 20 Artists on a carnival with recycled materials. To help raise awareness of waste.

My interest lies in Immersive Theatre and Outdoor Arts, having recently worked on Ar Waith ar daith, with Walk the Plank WMC 10th Year Anniversary as a puppeteer and with Vagabondi Arts with smaller scale puppets, family shows. Some of my Theatre work includes, Theatr Ffynnon with adults with learning difficulties. National Theatre Wales on the Big Democracry Project which intentions were to facilitate discussions around issues raised from communities around Wales as facilitator/performer.

My passion and work is rooted in helping make a change and a difference to individuals lives within communities.
